Come along to a Christmas party book club and lets have some fun!

Details of the event are;

What; Book Club Christmas Party – an opportunity for book lovers to get together in the run up to Christmas, enjoy mince pies, a festive drink, have some Christmas book club fun, games and of course an opportunity for some bookish chat.

When; Thursday 27th November 7-8.30pm.

Where; The Snug

Ticket Price; £15

(Please note this is an adult only event)

Your ticket includes an hour and a half in The Snug (don’t forget to bring your fluffy Christmas socks or slippers so we can get comfy!) where you will meet other book lovers who are up for some Christmas fun and games.

The Book Club Christmas Party will include;

-            A game of Pinch a Present (my absolute favourite game to play at Christmas time!) – See below for Pinch a Present rules!

-            Mince pies (or apple pies)

-            A festive tipple (either a Snowball or a Travelling Book Club Hot Chocolate Special),

-            Games and quizzes with small prizes, including Pass the Present where you could win a prize worth £12,

-            Christmas jumper competition! Jordan will be the judge…may the best jumper win!

-            Time to chat and mingle,

-            A lovely Christmas atmosphere in a private, super cosy venue.

So you will need to bring along with you a wrapped brand new book to gift to a fellow book clubber, with three words describing the book/genre/theme to give others an idea of what they might be pinching. This game is SO much fun. Wrap a book simply in paper or make it as fancy or unique as you like… the more extravagant the better (but equally simple wrapping will do). This game is so much fun. You bring a gift but you will also go home with a gift! If you haven’t played before rules of the game will be explained on the night.
